In August we went on our first Residential. We decided to go bowling and we were all looking forward to it. We had to get the bus there and there was quite a few of us so the bus got very cramped. What's even worse is that another youth group had decided to go where we were going and got the same bus, we all thought this was a spooky coincidence. We finally got there, and Joey and Anthony were discussing Jackass Stunts in the car park with shopping trolleys. Once we started bowling, I realised my calling in life... wasn't bowling because I wasn't too good. I always used to end up with my balls in the gutter, even when I put the safety rails up. But in the end I managed to claw back some dignity and come second place, to Joey.
